Perkins V requires the collaboration of educators, employers, and community leaders in each region to gather relevant data and describe how an institution’s local Perkins program and funding will support career and technical education programs and assist special populations students across the region and respond to gaps in programs and services.
The Lower Savannah CLNA Team is comprised of workforce, school district, and technical college personnel who meet quarterly. Industry representatives, educators, students, parents, and community agency representatives provide valuable feedback to ensure education offerings meet the needs of the community.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and courses provided through dual enrollment with technical colleges, high schools, and career centers are vital to providing a skilled workforce to support economic development in the state.
